Otomobilgi.com is an independent automotive culture platform founded and developed by a small team passionate about cars and motorsport.
Our goal fits in a single sentence: to tell the world of cars and motorsport with a loving eye and in an understandable language. From new models to industry news, from buying guides to maintenance and usage tips, we do research and produce content every day across a broad spectrum spanning automotive history and culture. We value independence, offering both praise and criticism to those who deserve it. What we look for on every page is the same: rich, genuinely useful information that you will not get bored reading.
Our name already tells our purpose: automobile + knowledge. Our aim is not to be just another car site, but to make automotive and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone and to help automotive culture spread.
We cannot pass without saying this either: Otomobilgi.com is Türkiye's first and only automotive culture platform publishing in 20 languages. For us, this is less a competitive claim than the most concrete form of our purpose. This is exactly what we meant when we said "making automotive and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone": not putting a language barrier in front of enthusiasts. Our carefully developed Turkish content is translated into a full 19 languages, from English to Japanese, from German to Arabic; independent automotive culture produced in Türkiye reaches not only readers in our country, but car enthusiasts all around the world. Because to us, the love of cars is universal; a loving eye and an understandable language can be found everywhere in the world.
The technology infrastructure that enables us to carry out such a comprehensive publishing project with a tiny team is also developed by ourselves: Virgo CMS. We do not use this next-generation system, developed in line with our needs ranging from multilingual publishing to content management, only in our own projects. We also offer Virgo CMS as a SaaS service to publishers who share the same dream. Publishers interested in our software infrastructure can always reach us.
