Otomobilgi.com is an independent car culture platform founded and developed by a small team of people passionate about cars and motorsport.
Our mission fits in a single sentence: to tell the world of cars and motorsport with a loving eye and in an understandable language. From new models to industry news, from buying guides to maintenance and usage tips, we research and produce content every day across a broad spectrum ranging from car history to car culture. We value being independent, offering praise and criticism alike only where they are deserved. What we look for on every page of ours is the same: solid, genuinely useful information that you will not get bored reading.
Our name already tells our mission: car + knowledge. Our aim is not to be yet another ordinary car site, but to make car and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone and to help car culture spread.
We also cannot pass without saying this: Otomobilgi.com is Türkiye's first and only car culture platform publishing in 21 languages. For us, this is less a competitive claim than the most tangible form of our mission. This is exactly what we meant when we said "make car and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone": not putting a language barrier in front of enthusiasts. Our carefully developed Turkish content is translated into a full 20 languages, from English to Japanese, from German to Arabic; independent car culture produced in Türkiye reaches not only readers in our country, but car enthusiasts all around the world. Because in our view, the love of cars is universal; a loving eye and an understandable language can be found anywhere in the world.
We also develop in-house the technology infrastructure that enables us to carry out such a comprehensive publishing project with a tiny team: Virgo CMS. We do not use this new-generation system, which we developed in line with our needs ranging from multilingual publishing to content management, only in our own projects. We also offer Virgo CMS, under a SaaS model, to publishers who share the same dream. Publishers interested in our software infrastructure can always reach us.
