About Us

Our goal fits in a single sentence: to tell the world of cars and motorsport with a loving eye and in an understandable language. From new models to industry news, from buying guides to maintenance and usage tips, we do research and produce content every day across a wide range that spans from automotive history to automotive culture. We value being independent, and giving both praise and criticism to those who deserve it. What we look for on every page of ours is the same: full, rich information that you will not get bored reading and that will genuinely be useful to you.

Our name already tells our purpose: otomobil (car) + bilgi (knowledge). Our aim is not to be yet another ordinary car website, but to make automotive and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone and to help automotive culture spread.

We also cannot go without saying this: Otomobilgi.com is Türkiye's first and only automotive culture platform publishing in 18 languages. For us, this is less a competitive claim than the most tangible form of our purpose. This is exactly what we meant when we said "making automotive and motorsport knowledge accessible to everyone": not putting a language barrier in front of enthusiasts. Our carefully developed Turkish content is translated into a full 16 languages, from English to Japanese, from German to Arabic; independent automotive culture produced in Türkiye reaches not only readers in our country, but car enthusiasts all around the world. Because in our view, the love of cars is universal; a loving eye and an understandable language can be found everywhere in the world.

We also develop in-house the technology infrastructure that enables such a small team to carry out such a comprehensive publishing project: Virgo CMS. We do not use this new-generation system, which we developed in line with our needs ranging from multilingual publishing to content management, only in our own projects. We also offer Virgo CMS, under a SaaS model, to publishers who share the same dream. Publishers interested in our software infrastructure can always reach us.
