The new Q4 e-tron is officially on sale in Türkiye
The model opened for ordering in Europe in May and hit the roads during the summer months; in Germany, the entry price for the version with the 63 kWh (59 kWh net) battery was around 47,500 euros . The Türkiye launch took place in mid-October, and the vehicle was offered for sale at authorized dealers along with connected vehicle services. Meanwhile, a note: in previous years, when options in the electric compact class were few, Audi's most accessible model in this class was eagerly awaited; today, the question is no longer who sells it, but who sells it with the most sensible package.
This compact crossover, based on the Volkswagen Group's electric MEB platform, had become the backbone of Audi's electric sales. The update is a measured revision built on that success: increased range and charging speed, a new display architecture in the interior, and a new capability in energy transfer. The body choice remains in the user's hands; the straighter-lined SUV and the Sportback with its more flowing roofline share the same technical foundation.
How much does the new Audi Q4 e-tron cost?
In Audi Türkiye's official price list, the recommended turnkey price for the Q4 SUV e-tron is 4,832,664 TL. This value reflects the turnkey amount including taxes and fees. The starting figure of 4,300,000 TL mentioned in launch news should be read as the entry value before turnkey costs; the two figures represent different definitions, and the difference stems from the structure of the electricity-specific Special Consumption Tax application. The final amount to be paid when buying a car always becomes clear with the fees and service charges at the time of delivery; this is precisely the rule that those experienced in this business have repeated for years.
On new vehicle platforms, the picture is as follows: the SUV body starts at 4,729,750 TL in six versions and extends up to 6,635,176 TL; for the Sportback, the range is between 4,891,756 TL - 6,824,512 TL . There is another far-from-obvious detail: those who look at the previous generation's 2025 list value may notice that the starting figures of around 4,249,000 TL mentioned in some publications almost exactly match the old model's list. In second-hand and pre-registered listings, the Q4 40 e-tron's 3,250,000 TL level also serves as a reminder of just how steep the price cuts are for buyers of brand-new cars.
Range and battery: two capacities, four value brackets
The refreshed Q4 e-tron comes with two battery options: 63 kWh and 84 kWh. Audi chose to keep NMC cell chemistry; at a time when some competitors are moving toward cheaper LFP, this is a meaningful choice in terms of range consistency and charging behavior. WLTP range varies by body style and motor version:
| Body / Battery | 63 kWh | 84 kWh (performance) |
|---|---|---|
| Q4 SUV e-tron | 375-440 km | 481-563 km |
| Q4 Sportback e-tron | 391-451 km | 503-576 km |
Across all versions, range has increased by 16-30 km compared to the previous model. Audi Türkiye's model page lists motor power of up to 250 kW, rear torque of 545 Nm, front torque of 134 Nm and 0-100 km/h acceleration of around 5.4 seconds . Cargo capacity is 520 lt in the SUV, 1,490 lt with the rear seats folded; with additional storage compartments, a total of 24.8 lt of extra volume is offered.
What has changed on the charging side?
Perhaps the most crucial part of this update is charging. DC fast-charging power has been raised to 185 kW depending on the version; in the previous generation, versions with the large battery were limited to 175 kW. Under suitable conditions, charging from 10% to 80% takes about 27 minutes . At HPC, i.e. high-power charging stations, a 10-minute break provides up to 185 km of additional range based on the WLTP cycle. At entry level, DC power remains at 160 kW; in other words, 185 kW is an advantage granted not to every version but to the versions with the large battery of 77 kWh net capacity.
For the Türkiye market, there is also a cold mathematical counterpart to this distinction: according to ODMD's March data, sales of electric cars with charging power below 160 kW rose by 74.2% year-on-year, while sales of models above 160 kW declined by 53% and their share fell to 1.6%. The upper versions of the new Q4 fall precisely into this narrow segment. Speaking with 30 years of experience: technical superiority and sales volume never always finish in the same order, but the profitability contribution of models in this segment is usually high regardless of their unit sales.
V2L: Audi's first bidirectional charging model
The new Q4 e-tron is the brand's first model to use its bidirectional charging technology. Thanks to V2L, the vehicle can supply energy to compatible devices, from e-bikes to camping equipment. In certain markets, V2H, i.e. home energy transfer support, is also offered. Electric vehicles used to be boxes that simply consumed what they took from the socket; now they are turning into mobile energy units. Those who spend weekends camping, or those living at home with fears of outages, will in time understand that this feature is not mere brochure decoration.
Panoramic display layout and voice assistant in the interior

The most striking change in the cabin is the panoramic panel that combines the 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and the 12.8-inch MMI screen into a single curved unit. The optional 12-inch the passenger display is also added to this arrangement; a touch surface dedicated to the passenger that does not distract the driver. Thanks to the ChatGPT-powered Audi assistant, vehicle functions can be controlled by voice. Improvements made to the power electronics increased efficiency; part of the range increase also comes from here, because enlarging the battery is the easiest way but also the most expensive.
The hardware list is also ambitious: optional augmented reality head-up display, center speaker and subwoofer included 10-speaker SONOS premium sound system and the previously mentioned storage solutions. A brief note first: some articles online claim that its library is based on Android Automotive; this is not directly confirmed in the technical material shared by the manufacturer, and the verifiable part is the panoramic panel and the ChatGPT-powered assistant architecture.
The place of the Q4 e-tron in Türkiye's electric market
Türkiye's electric vehicle market continues to grow in volume in 2026, but the dynamics have changed. In January, the electric vehicle fleet had exceeded 377 thousand units and the market share was around 18%. According to ODMD data, in the first half the market share of electric cars rose to 18.5%; in contrast, unit sales declined by 5.3%, remaining at an annual level of approximately 335 thousand. Share is rising, units are falling; this shows that the market is being shaped by the rapid growth of the lower segment. In the C-SUV class, the picture is more complicated: since the launch period, the price pressure from China-based rivals is pushing premium brands' electric models on the price side.
In this context, three things are critical to reading the position of the new Q4 e-tron: raising the standards with 185 kW charging power, producing practical value with V2L, and how its turnkey price at the level of 4.8 million TL balances segment perception. The premium badge used to be a sufficient distinguishing feature; now buyers compare the numbers and write the range and charging time into the equation. It can be said that Audi is trying to respond exactly to that equation with this update.
Conclusion: a measured update, a serious message
The new Q4 e-tron is not a revolution; it is a solid improvement that updates range, charging speed, cabin technology and energy capabilities together. Audi bringing its first V2L implementation to its best-selling model in this class is an indication that bidirectional charging has now moved from top-segment supermodels down to the compact class. With the official launch of sales in Türkiye, the real question facing the buyer is whether the 185 kW charging performance and range of up to 576 km, together with the price tag, form a sensible budget balance. The numbers are on the table, and each buyer will do the math for themselves.
