Renault Duster Makes a Price Campaign Move in October

The one Renault highlighted in its October campaign, Duster evolution Turbo TCe EDC 145 hp version is priced at 1,864,000 TL, which compared to the 2,050,000 TL written at the top of the list means a real discount of roughly 186,000 TL, or around 9 percent The campaign is limited to stock and valid until October 31, 2026. Below I explain how this figure was calculated, what you get with the version, and why price moves like this have become so widespread in the market.

- The campaign price is just above the January 2026 list price (1,860,000 TL)
- The market shrank by an annual 25% in July 2026: 80,786 units
- Version: 145 hp, 245 Nm, EDC automatic, 4x2, 520-liter trunk
How Much of a Real Discount Is the 1,864,000 TL Campaign Price?
A campaign price means nothing on its own; what matters is what it is low compared to. The October 2026 list price of this Duster version is 2,050,000 TL. The 1,864,000 TL announced on Renault's official campaign page under the "exclusive to October" heading, when set against this list price, reveals a difference of 186,000 TL In percentage terms, roughly 9 percent of the list price has come down.
When reading this calculation, one subtle point must not be missed: the Duster's list price actually increased in October. The version listed at 2,010,000 TL in September was raised to 2,050,000 TL in the October list. So there is both a price increase and a discount; one is the manufacturer's list move, the other a campaign on the retail side. They are two sides of the same thing: as the list price goes up, the campaign goes below the list to draw potential customers to the dealer. On the news side, when headlines emphasize the "price increase" angle, readers may think the picture is confusing; yet the mechanism is quite familiar.
A more interesting comparison is historical: this version's January 2026 list price was 1,860,000 TL. Today's campaign price is only 4,000 TL above the list at the start of the year. In other words, the campaign almost entirely reverses the inflationary movement accumulated in the price over the year, and stays below the September list price. That is a concrete gain to be calculated for those postponing a car purchase.
The Duster's October 2026 Price Table: What Happened Over the Year?
Looking at the model range as a whole shows better where the campaign stands. The figures below compare the start-of-year, September, and October list prices:
| Version | January 2026 | September 2026 | October 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evolution Eco-G 120 hp | 1,730,000 TL | 1,865,000 TL | 1,865,000 TL |
| evolution Turbo TCe EDC 145 hp | 1,860,000 TL | 2,010,000 TL | 2,050,000 TL |
| techno Turbo TCe EDC 145 hp | 1,905,000 TL | 2,080,000 TL | 2,200,000 TL |
| techno Full hybrid E-Tech 160 hp | - | 2,725,000 TL | 2,725,000 TL |
| Evolution hybrid 4x4 150 hp | 2,535,000 TL | 2,850,000 TL | 2,850,000 TL |
| Techno hybrid 4x4 150 hp | 2,565,000 TL | 2,920,000 TL | 2,920,000 TL |
Three things can be read from the table. First, there is a significant upward movement throughout the year in the petrol versions; the techno petrol sees a one-off increase of 120,000 TL in October. Second, in the hybrid 4x4 versions, prices have settled in September. Third, the campaign price has only been officially confirmed for the evolution Turbo TCe EDC version; while discussing the discounted equivalents of the other figures, dealer-based campaigns come into play.
What Do You Get for This Price? The Content of the evolution Trim

The campaign version is the entry-mid tier of the Duster lineup: its 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol produces 106 kW, i.e. 145 hp of power and 245 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a dual-clutch automatic bearing the EDC name, and the drivetrain is 4x2. Ground clearance is 217 mm, boot capacity is 520 litres, and the driver has five driving modes at hand: ECO, AUTO, Snow, Mud&Sand and Off-Road. The Eco-G, i.e. LPG derivative of the same engine, is sold with a claimed range of over 1,300 km; for those preferring the hybrids, the lineup starts from 2,850,000 TL.
No shortage on the safety side
In the evolution trim, ABS, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, front collision warning and the AEBS emergency braking assistance system are standard. Side and curtain airbags accompany the driver and front passenger airbags, and ISOFIX anchor points are present. It is a package that has now become classic at this level but was not standard even in C-SUVs ten years ago; the descent of things once seen in upper trims to the entry version is the class's most tangible gain.
One shortcoming stands out on the comfort side
On the multimedia side, a 10.1-inch openR touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital display, a reversing camera and a rear parking sensor are standard. Cruise control and speed limiter, automatic headlights, rain sensor, LED headlights, electric and heated side mirrors, a leather steering wheel and the Hands-Free Renault Card are also on the list. The climate control, however, is manual; adaptive cruise control and automatic climate control are absent at this level. And a few small but practical details: fog lights at 3,500 TL, modular roof bars at 7,000 TL, a spare wheel at 14,000 TL, and metallic paint at 15,000 TL as options. The fact that the spare wheel is an option is an item that must definitely be taken into account before purchase by those with long-distance driving habits.
Where Does the Duster Stand Among Rival B-SUVs?
Technically, the Duster is positioned in the C segment, but in Türkiye it effectively knocks on the same wallet door as the B-SUVs; its price/durability balance makes it one of the country's most preferred compact SUVs. The campaign price of 1,864,000 TL reinforces this position: the same brand's smaller-bodied Captur, in the techno mild hybrid EDC 140 hp version, was listed from 2,325,000 TL as of September. In other words, the Duster is cheaper despite being the larger vehicle even within its own lineup; such situations are rare and valuable opportunities for the buyer.
The rival front is not idle either. Suzuki positioned an affordable model as a direct competitor to the Duster with a claimed consumption of 4.7 liters. On the Fiat side, the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback are expected to take on the Duster as sub-4.5-meter C-SUVs. Speaking with an editor's eye that evaluates campaign periods: the timing of these two developments is no coincidence. While compact SUV demand in the Turkish market is shrinking, the most effective tool in manufacturers' hands is not the list price, but the campaign price. The Duster has played this game steadily throughout the year.
Campaign History: Is October's Figure High or Low?
Throughout this year, the Duster's campaign price never stayed fixed. In May, a starting price of 1,759,000 TL was announced under a "special for the month" label; in June, it dropped to 1,794,000 TL for cash purchases. In August, some dealers made stock-based posts at 1,630,000 TL, and on the Eco-G side, discounts of up to 100,000 TL and 200,000 TL interest-free loan packages were discussed. In September, dealer campaigns of 1,765,000 TL were seen for the Evolution Turbo TCe EDC.
In this context, October's 1,864,000 TL is an upward move compared to September's unofficial figures. Reading this as bad news would be wrong; since the list price rose by 40,000 TL at the same time, the campaign's discount below the list also deepened. One more thing must be added: figures like 1,599,000 TL and 1,630,000 TL announced by dealers on social media are not official campaigns, but stock and dealer-based moves. These vary from region to region and should be approached with caution as a price reference. The official guarantee is only as solid as the figure published on the manufacturer's own page.
Why Has the Market Become So Dependent on Campaign Prices?
Behind these kinds of price moves lies the state of the market. The automobile and light commercial vehicle market shrank by 7.40 percent in the first five months of the year, falling to 453,138 units. In June, the contraction accelerated to 11.44 percent, and the market receded to 105,041 units. In July, the shrinkage reached an annual 25 percent; the monthly volume of 80,786 units marks one of the weak Julys of recent years. The cumulative for the first seven months of the year shows a 10.72 percent contraction and 638,965 units. TEB Arval's first-half assessment also paints a picture confirming the contraction signal on both the automobile and light commercial sides.
There are two ways to revive demand in a shrinking market: lower the price or ease the payment. Our industry is choosing the latter. On Renault's own campaign page, an interest-free loan offer of up to 200,000 TL for another model stands as a separate block; in the market, such interest-free packages are now the rule, not the exception. The legal framework also shapes the form: due to loan limits, credit can be used for at most 70 percent of the vehicle's value, and the remainder must be covered with a down payment or a similar arrangement. There are also market assessments that interest-free new vehicle alternatives are weakening second-hand demand.
To be honest here, I have no quantitative data on how much of sales flow directly through financing channels; however, the prevalence of 0% interest campaigns and credit limit regulations are indirect but strong signs that the market largely runs on payment plans. In this context, the 186,000 TL discount is not generosity, but the cost of keeping customers in a shrinking market. For manufacturers, the list price is now just a showroom figure; the real bargaining happens in campaign blocks.
Things to Know Before Making a Purchase Decision
The campaign ends on October 31, 2026 and is limited to available stock; in other words, the listed figure is not an unlimited commitment. A practical sequence for those interested might be as follows:
- Confirm the version: 1,864,000 TL applies only to the 2026 model year evolution Turbo TCe EDC 145 hp version.
- Factor in optional items: choices such as metallic paint, spare tire and roof bars can add between 7,000-15,000 TL to the price.
- Ask about dealer-specific campaigns separately: Regional stock allocations can sometimes go below the official figure, but these do not carry any written or official guarantee.
- Compare financing options: The total cost of a cash discount versus a 0% interest package does not yield the same result for every buyer.
In conclusion, the October campaign is less exaggerated than it looks on paper but still a genuine discount: 9% off the list price, a return to the beginning-of-year price. I believe such moves will remain on the agenda in a shrinking, credit-dependent market for a while longer; for buyers, doing the math early saves you from the regret of the first week of November.
