Dacia Striker, a C-segment crossover produced at the Oyak Renault factory in Bursa and exported to Europe from the world's only production center, has been launched for sale with three hybrid-focused engine options: LPG-supported mild hybrid Mild Hybrid-G 140, front-wheel-drive full hybrid Hybrid 155, and Hybrid 150 4x4 with an electric rear axle. On this page, we examine the technical structure of the three engines, European prices, and the calendar for their arrival in Türkiye in December 2026 based on official information.

Highlights

  • Opened for orders in Europe as of October 13, 2026; Prices in the Expression trim range from 25,100-29,900 euro.
  • Three engine options: Mild Hybrid-G 140 (gasoline/LPG), Hybrid 155, and Hybrid 150 4x4.
  • 4.62 m length, 600 liters of cargo volume, approximately 1,400 kg weight.
  • Sales in Türkiye begin in December 2026; official prices have not yet been announced.
  • The only production center in the world is the Oyak Renault factory in Bursa.

What are the Dacia Striker's engine options?

The Striker is Dacia's C-segment crossover that combines SUV, station wagon, and sedan forms, and it comes with three hybrid-assisted engines that may vary from market to market. This trio summarizes the brand's direction in recent years very well: while Dacia once evoked only simple and cheap gasoline cars, hybrid systems and even 4x4 have now settled into the middle of the lineup. No rush was made for an electric version; it is reported that a fully electric model will come at a later stage, with the emphasis on hybrids for now.

On the trim side, there are three levels: Expression, Extreme, and Journey. The shared technical specifications are as follows: 4.62 meters in length, 1.53 meters in height, approximately 1,400 kg in weight, and with a three-piece cargo floor (standard on Extreme and Journey), 600 liters of cargo volume. A 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital display, and up to 9 YouClip attachment points continue the lineup's familiar Dacia practicality.

Mild Hybrid-G 140: LPG and mild hybrid in the same body

Fabrika çıkışlı LPG'li, otomatik şanzımanlı ve ÖTV muafiyeti taşıyan bu motor, Türkiye pazarının en akılcı cevabı gibi görünüyor.

The most interesting member of the lineup is undoubtedly the Mild Hybrid-G 140, where the 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine is paired with a 48V mild hybrid system. This unit, producing 140 HP of power and 230 Nm of torque, comes with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 0.8 kWh battery in the system charges itself during driving, and regenerative braking is part of this cycle; no external charging is required.

The real difference is the gasoline/LPG dual-fuel capability. The switch can be made automatically, or the driver can intervene manually. In a market like Türkiye where LPG is widespread, the appeal of a C-segment crossover with an automatic transmission and factory-fitted LPG is beyond dispute; the expectation that this version will be the most preferred option in our country is therefore strong. Moreover, this engine qualifies for the SCT exemption, meaning there is a decisive advantage in how its Türkiye pricing is formed.

Hybrid 155: a full hybrid that pulls away on electricity in the city

At the heart of the Hybrid 155, the full hybrid option, is a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 109 HP; alongside it work a 49 HP electric motor and a high-voltage starter generator. The system feeds a 1.4 kWh battery running at 280 V, delivers a total of 155 HP, and is combined with a 4+2 automatic electric transmission.

This unit's character in practice is geared toward city use: it pulls away in fully electric mode on every start and can complete up to 80 percent of city driving with electric assistance. This behavior of naturally aspirated full hybrids has been the segment's known formula for years; Dacia's difference is offering it below its own price threshold. There is also a production dimension to the matter: the HR18 hybrid engine is produced at the Bursa Oyak Renault facilities and exported to the world. This engine falls under the SCT exemption.

Hybrid 150 4x4: why is an electric rear axle without a driveshaft rare in the segment?

4x4 has become an almost forgotten configuration in C-segment crossovers; the Striker's Hybrid 150 4x4 fills this gap. The solution is also technically noteworthy: the front axle houses a 1.2-liter turbo 48V mild hybrid engine producing 140 HP / 230 Nm and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission; on the rear axle, an electric motor delivering a maximum of 23 kW (31 HP) and 87 Nm of torque works together with its 2-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to the electric rear axle, there is no mechanical driveshaft; this reduces weight and positively affects fuel consumption.

The driver can choose among five drive modes: Auto, Eco, Snow, Mud/Sand and Off-Road; 4x4 support works up to a speed of 140 km/h. This setup carries the familiar 4x4 capability seen in the Duster and Bigster to the Striker. Dacia's 4x4 was long considered a luxury for a budget brand; now it has combined with the hybrid system and descended into the mid-segment. The point to note is this: this version does not have the SCT exemption, so it is likely to diverge noticeably from the other two engines in Türkiye pricing.

Bursa production and the share of the 400 million euro investment

The Striker's only production center in the world is the Bursa Oyak Renault factory; the vehicle goes from Türkiye to many countries, Europe first and foremost. This is the latest link in the 400 million euro investment plan announced in cooperation between OYAK and Renault Group. The factory finished 2025 with a production of 387,113 units; the Striker is a model that will add to this picture both in terms of capacity and added value. The fact that its hybrid engine is also produced at the same facility shows that Bursa's role is not limited to assembly.

For someone who has been through this business thoroughly, the picture is striking: in the past, most cars exported from Türkiye consisted of low-spec versions with simple engines; now, both the body and the hybrid unit of a model entering Europe's order book are coming from here. The 2026 model was showcased at the Paris Motor Show and was also presented in Milan.

European prices and the Türkiye timeline: when, and under what conditions?

In Europe, the Striker opened for orders as of October 13, 2026. At the Expression trim level, prices range from 25,100 to 29,900 euros depending on the engine choice; above it in the lineup are the Journey and Extreme trims. This range shows that Dacia is maintaining its classic pricing policy in the hybrid era as well: an entry price clearly below the segment average, topped with measured equipment increments.

On the Türkiye side, the official calendar is clear: sales begin in December 2026, and the vehicles are planned to reach both retail and commercial customers. The official price has not yet been announced; expectations circulating on online platforms that it will be close to 1.8 million TL are speculative in nature and not based on official data. Two things are certain: the vehicle will be sold in Türkiye in versions exempt from the SCT, and with Dacia's "My Dacia Secure" package, a warranty of up to 7 years will be offered. Details such as Smart Tailgate Opening, standard on the Journey trim and optional on the Extreme, along with the electric driver's seat and electric tailgate, indicate that when the price list is announced, the choice of trim will be just as decisive as the choice of engine.

Conclusion: which engine makes sense for whom?

To sum up: for those who will use it mainly in the city and want to keep long-term operating costs low in Türkiye, the LPG-powered Mild Hybrid-G 140 seems like the most natural candidate; the SCT exemption also works in favor of this version. The Hybrid 155 suits those who want a more prominent electric feel in traffic. The Hybrid 150 4x4, on the other hand, combines a rare capability in the segment, namely true traction, with hybrid efficiency; in return, the SCT advantage has to be given up. The Türkiye prices to be announced in December will be the final piece that clarifies the real market position of this trio.
